The Media is raving about
an art show in the Mill.
The show, organized by a group of local artists,
features 400 pieces from more than 80 artists.
In an extensive story about the show,
the Asbury Park Press says:
"With unconventional strategies, the group has devised a new and different type of show. Works by locals are juxtaposed with those of international heavy-hitters, leveling the playing field and presenting new opportunities for burgeoning artists. This equalizing effect reflects the current climate for contemporary art sales, which is often limited to wealthier demographics."
Mill artist in residence Graham Preston organized the show with a committee of local artists as part of a collective effort to unite artists in Delaware River Valley and show support for the Mill. Portions of the sales will go to the Mill.
Works are either 3-by-5, 5-by-7 or 8-by-8 inches.
Prices are set at $75, $150 and $300.
