Stockton Rummage Sale to Live On!
Two-Decade Tradition to Continue

STOCKTON – For most of the last 20 years, the Stockton School has held its annual rummage sale at the Prallsville Mills. While the school is unfortunately closing, the Delaware River Mill Society is pleased to announce that the rummage sale will live on as a benefit for the Prallsville Mills and the Stockton community.

The sale this year will occur on Saturday, April 28th and Sunday, 29th in the Grist Mill at 33 Risler Street in Stockton. On Saturday, the sale will run from 9 am to 4 pm. On Sunday, the doors will open at 9 am with all remaining items at half price. Starting at noon, visitors can fill a bag for only $10.

“We are delighted to be able to keep this Stockton community tradition alive,” said Elizabeth Japchen, Executive Director of the Delaware River Mill Society, which operates the Prallsville Mills Complex. “We’ve been proud partners of the Stockton School for the last 20 years and we will try to do them proud in building on their hard work.”

All donations are tax deductible and will be collected from 9:30 am to 4 pm on Saturday, April 23 through Thursday, April 26. On Wednesday, April 27, donations will be accepted until 8 pm.

We can accept lots of gently used items, including books, DVDs, video games, clothing for adults and kids, accessories (shoes, belts, jewelry and handbags), furniture in good condition, artwork and household décor, kitchenware, linens, tools and hardware, sports equipment and musical instruments.

Unfortunately we cannot accept mattresses or upholstered furniture, stuffed animals, undergarments or open hygiene products, entertainment centers, old televisions, computers or VCRS. Magazines, encyclopedias and phone books also cannot be accepted.
